It's breathtakingly beautiful and secluded, you feel like you are in and island and there is no one else around. The service and facilities are amazing as well. Everything you could need a weekend away is there.

the Wilson's Creek dining was a wonderful experience. The nature: walks, hammocks, wildlife, surrounds, design of the rooms/cabins great to have the option to eat take out on your balcony if you wanted to so relaxing and beautiful.
we were very disappointed with the breakfast, A beautiful setting and a very supermarket breakfast.....ordinary bread, pastries, when the region has such great bakeries ( like we had a dinner the night before), no eggs offered and no option for a good coffee. where were the macadamia nuts for the muesli?....tastes of the region again!

I love this place..... the RainForest, the gardens, the peaceful surroundings... On the spur of the moment, Management was good enough to prepare a brunch/cocktail, after hours, for us and our friends. We were very grateful. They made our stay memorable!

We loved the rainforest atmosphere and enjoyed the quiet cabin accomodation , we loved the natural environment, the beautiful pool, the excellent restaurant. All in all it was a fabulous hidden resort and our stay with you was very enjoyable.

The service & dining was exceptional
The cabin was not what I'd expect for a 4 star rated accommodation but still comfortable

The quiet country setting. I like the couple who were the sole staff on site. There were only 2 people on duty the 2 days we were there and they did everything from preparing breakfast, to reception and checking out. They managed admirably, but it would be more honest to close down the Retreat when staff are on leave and and not do bookings at that time rather than allow visitors to arrive at a semi-deserted resort.
We were unprepared for the fact that most of the staff were away on leave and that the restaurant was not open, especially as there were few other restaurants close by to choose from without having to drive all the way back to Byron Bay. Also when a tariff says bed and breakfast, at the tariff charged, one would expect a cooked breakfast as has been our experince at other Peppers Resorts.

The location and environment is amazing. Waking up to the birds singing and beautiful surrounds is lovely. The restaurant food and service was excellent (we had an incredible dinner and breakfast). Overall these positives outweighed the negatives.
The room smelled musty and the decor is dated. The room was also loud with all sorts of noises from the adjoining room (including toilet fan, TV, foot steps, talking etc). My only other complaint is the shower had mould around the drain hole.

The location was gorgeous. So peaceful and tranquil, perfect for couples. The food for dinner was superb and the staff are really friendly and helpful.
It's not set up for families. The sofabed for the kids takes up pretty much the entire lounge room. The breakfast is lacking a bit too and doesn't start till 8:00 am. Which is fine if you don't have young hungry kids. Also, it's really hard to find, only one sign on the entrance road and the address didn't come up on my GPS.
